“Best mix of modern style and classic looks”

When you enter the building at first you might feel like you are wrong. But ones you take the stairs up you will be welcomed by classic style, art and modern elements. It has really surprised us. It is really really hard to keep all the characteristics of a building like this one and still give it a modern twist. Chapeau, for the owners. Very well done. The rooms are especially very well done. Spacious and calming. Perfect to lay back and relax or work.
The location is just perfect. Right in the hearth of the historic city. Employees are delightful and simply the story behind it all, inspiring. I you visit the property have a look on the painting in the hallway right of the salon. It is the Grand Mother of the current owner. Yes it has been in the family for that long.

“Style and Class”

From the moment you walk through the door of Baudon de Mauny you will not be disappointed. the entrance is historically beautiful and does not disappoint. You reach the front door to be welcomed by a 17C staircase to beat none. No check but a person who greets you personally offers you a coffee or a drink and then sits you down and tells you all the marvellous things about Montpellier and surrounds and then shows you to your room. Service outstanding room quiet so stylish and yet still manages to keep the old and new working together beautifully. Something very special that many other hotels could learn from.

“Superior boutique accommodation in the perfect location for Montpellier.”

Charm history and location are the best!. A converted mansion built before 1850, the 8 room boutique hotel is more bed and breakfast than hotel. Peaceful, quiet, exceptionally clean, modern decor, and an attending concierge service from the desk that is ready and willing to immediately take care of any questions or service that you may require make Baudon de Maury easily one of the best boutique hotels that I have found in Europe. Delightful in its simplicity…perfect in its location in the beautiful and friendly city that is Montpellier.

“Fabulous find!”

Definitely a home away from home! I have stayed here twice and will return again. Terrific design and attention to detail. Service is 5 star.
Note — this property does not have a corporate/business hotel kind of feel. If you require room service and a gym, go elsewhere. If you want to curl up with a good book and a glass of champagne, as if at home, this is the cosy place to do it.
